Luke 5:1-11

In the Name of Jesus

Dearly Beloved,

Lazarus suffered and died.  He suffered all through his life.  He didn’t have anything.  He was hungry and he was sick.  Other people knew he needed things but they didn’t give him anything.

Sometimes we feel like Lazarus.  Sometimes we think that nobody cares for us and nobody cares about us.  Sometimes we feel lonesome and all alone.

God always loves us and always cares for us.  We know that God was taking care of Lazarus.  When Lazarus died, the angels took him to heaven.  God is always with us.  Jesus suffered and died.  Jesus understands that we are lonely.  Jesu knows what it is like to suffer.  Jesus knows what it is like to be hungry.  Jesus knows what it is like to see other people be treated better than we are treated.

So, because of Jesus death on the cross, God forgives all our sins.   Because Jesus’ arose from the dead, we are arise to live forgiven with Him every day and for ever.
