Dear Parents, The February calendar is being sent home today. Please save it for reference during the month of February. During the month of January we collected $94.85 for Lutherans for Life. The Chapel offerings for the month of February will go to the Nebraska District “Hearts for Jesus” project. This year’s project is Camp Luther. An information sheet about Camp Luther is being sent home today. A small yellow envelope is being sent home today with students in Grades K-5 that may be used for a Chapel offering in February. The second of our Parent Visitation days will be held this Thursday, February 2 for students in Pre-School through Grade 5 and on Friday, February 3 for Pre-Kindergarten classes. Parents are welcome any time at school, however on these days we extend a special invitation for parents to visit the school. If you wish to eat a hot lunch with your child, please notify the school office by 8:30 that morning. Adult lunch price is $3.00 and children’s is $2.40. (We remind you that lunches from fast food restaurants may not be brought to school.) B.E.A.R. Fair has begun. Information was sent home with students in Pre-School through Grade 5 last week. The first turn in day was today, Tuesday, January 31. Please follow directions when taking orders. The next turn in days are this Friday, February 3 and next week Wednesday, February 8. Final turn in day is Wednesday, February 8. B.E.A.R. FAIR ONLINE ORDERS - When ordering online at www.gafundraising.com the number to use for St. Paul Lutheran School is 2488385. The profits from the B.E.A.R. Fair go to purchase books, DVDs, etc. for our school library. January lunch and February tuition bills will be sent home this week. Bell Choir - The next rehearsal is Tuesday, February 7 from 3:25 - 3:50 PM. The Bell Choir will play at Chapel on February 15 at 8:30 AM The students in Grade 1 will lead our Chapel Service on Wednesday, February 8 at 8:30 AM. Parents are invited to worship with us at this special Chapel Service as well as any Wednesday morning. The students in Grades 3, 4, and 5 will sing at St. Paul Lutheran Church on Sunday, February 12 in the 8:00 AM Worship Service. Valentines may be brought and handed out at school on Valentines Day, Tuesday, February 14. (Pre-Kindergarten, Wednesday, February 15). To avoid any hurt feelings we ask that children bringing Valentines bring one for each member of the class or hand out none at school. Save the Date: February 19 will be the annual LYF Soup Luncheon. Profits will be for youth to attend the 2013 National Youth Gathering in San Antonio. The youth would appreciate your support! NO SCHOOL on Monday, February 20 for students in all grades, Pre-Kdg - Grade 5 in honor of Presidents’ Day. February PTL Meeting - The February PTL meeting will be held on Tuesday, February 21 at 7:00 PM. We are in the process of accepting applications for new students in Pre-School, Pre-Kindergarten, and Kindergarten through Grade 5 for the next school year (2012-2013). If you know of anyone interested in enrolling in St. Paul School please give their name to the school office or ask them to contact the school. SunMart cash register receipts: Our total is $131,949.44. Thanks to everyone who helps by sending in your receipts.
