ST. PAUL LUTHERAN SCHOOL NEWS

May 17, 2010

Dear Parents,

Today’s newsletter is the final one of the 2009-2010 school year.  As we look back over the school year we see the many blessings we have received from God throughout the school year.  He truly is a gracious God and we praise and thank Him for all He has done for us.  We say Thank You to parents, students and teachers for all their work throughout the school year.  We also say a big THANK YOU to those members of our school staff that make our school run so smoothly:  Kay Buss, our secretary; Fritzie Ellis, Iris Hintz, and Darlene Scheideler, our teachers’ assistants; Jane Oeltjen, who serves our meals; and Walt, Terry, and Jeannette Vitosh, our custodians.  We are truly blessed with a dedicated staff of workers.  The group of people we have that volunteer their time and talents is so large that we cannot mention them all.  We do thank each of you for those many hours you give to our school.

The Concession Committee would like to say a big THANK YOU to all who helped with the concession stand at Friday’s Field Day.  We really appreciate all the donations of food and all the time that was given preparing the food, running the stand and cleaning up after.  THANKS!!!

As we near the end of this school year and begin preparing for next year, we want to remind you of an option for paying tuition and/or lunch fees.  Thirty-five families used the program “Simply Giving” this past school year to pay their monthly fees.  It was a help to us in the school office as well as to these families.  There is no cost to you for this program.  We hope many of you will consider this method of paying your monthly payment next school year.  More precise information and an application brochure will be included in the Registration Day mailing that you will receive in July.
